As we approach this uncharted territory, our commitment to our students and their learning has never been more important. The situation is changing rapidly, and we are trying to adjust and anticipate needs as quickly as we can, while also keeping the health and well-being of students, families and tutors at the forefront.
The dedication and passion of our team of tutors has always made me proud, but now more than ever. They are all currently attending additional training to meet the changing needs so that we are prepared to:
- Support our students through Zoom to continue to achieve goals, proficiency, and growth
- Develop strategies for students to adjust and succeed in e-learning environments
- Provide enrichment and supplemental instruction for students who are home bound
- Help families who may feel confused or overwhelmed with their students’ needs
Lively Minds will be giving families the option to transition in-person tutoring sessions to online tutoring during this crisis, and we would like to reassure you that we have been successfully using Zoom as our online tutoring platform for the past several years.
